Preparation for CWE in 2011

We all are aware of the CWE that will be conducted in 2011. This exam is a large scale recruitment programme that will be the entry ticket for 19 public sector banks of India. These banks are highly esteemed in India, and it is the dream of many individuals to be a part of these banks. In addition, CWE is conducted for the most coveted jobs offered by the banking sector, Bank Po and Clerical posts. These posts provide good income and many other exciting additional perks. However, many candidates are confused about the preparation for CWE. Since it is the first time such a large recruitment is being conducted in the banking sector, the competition level would be much higher, which means thorough preparation of the syllabus and hard practice from the sample papers.

Nothing is impossible if you prepare yourself well. Banks exams are considered to be very tough and it takes lot of hard work and commitment to clear these exams. Your vocabulary should be vast. You need to frame your answers accurately in order to score higher marks than other candidates.
General knowledge is one area where you can have an edge over the others.

Since the syllabus will be the same for every individual, there is not much scope to show your superior knowledge. Your general awareness level can fetch you higher scores.
Practice from sample papers. Gather all kind of sample papers on bank po and clerical exams and study them thoroughly.
Have a sound knowledge of the IBPS background and its functions. It might be a possibility that questions related to IBPS can be asked in the question paper.
Stay updated. There can be changes in the syllabus, so ne updated with all the information. Stay connected to the IBPS site through the internet to catch if any recent changes have been made.
These basic tips can be helpful to score better in the CWE. Your recruitment would be based on your scores. If any vacancy arises in the public sector banks, you would be informed by IBPS and called for an interview. After clearing the interview round, you will be selected in the bank.
